PLMA Roundtable Conference: How To Grow Your Private Label Profits

How retailers can meet the challenge of turning private label sales gains into higher profits will be the focus of PLMA’s 2014 Roundtable Conference, to be held in London on February 26-27.

Profitability from several different perspectives will be covered during a number of presentations over the course of the two-day event. Speaker Jon Wright, Senior Analyst at research firm Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD), will examine strategies taken by the top five European grocers.

“The role of consumers in building sales” will be the topic of a presentation by Naomi Kasolowsky, Global Capability Director Loyalty, Dunnhumby.

Meanwhile, Vicky Bullen, chief executive of the packaging design firm Coley Porter Bell, will highlight the importance of packaging on profitability.

How manufacturers can work on their own profitability will be discussed by Eric Lassau, CEO of Oralys Group SAS.

Waitrose, the upmarket grocery chain will be the subject of a case study by Andrew Stevens, Senior Analyst at Verdict Research.

The importance of building profitability by increasing sales will be the topic of sales and marketing consultant Chris Hoyt’s presentation.

Attendees will also be offered the opportunity to go on store tour of a number of major retailers in the capital city.
