Eroski Partners With Lufthansa For Loyalty Card Savings

Spanish retailer Eroski has reached an agreement with airline Lufthansa to offer more savings to the holders of the Eroski Club credit card.

From 30 June to 30 November, Eroski Club members who pay for any flight operated by Lufthansa with the Eroski Mastercard will generate a saving of 5% of the flight’s amount. This can be exchanged for future purchases in the retailer's hypermarket and supermarket network.

Eroski Club director, Itxaso Cuesta, said, "In Eroski, we continue to take steps towards a better relationship with our partners and customers. We want to offer you new savings solutions and direct advantages that make your life easier. This agreement allows us to offer more savings through the recently launched Eroski Club-Mastercard credit card.”

Saving Opportunities

Members who wish to avail of these savings have up to 90 days from the date of purchase to avail of the offers in-store.

Carsten Hoffmann, managing director of Lufthansa, added, "We are very pleased to be able to collaborate with Eroski in this initiative and offer so many customers in the Basque Country even more advantages when it comes to enjoying the quality products and services offered by Lufthansa."

The Spanish cooperative launched the new credit card at the end of May. It converts 1% of sales transactions outside of Eroski into savings that can be used against future in-store purchases.
