Food retailer Spar Slovenia has opened its franchise store in the country.
Spar’s partner Blatnik in Lavrica will soon be joined by other franchised stores to be independently managed by partners that will sell products from Spar’s distribution centre.
The franchise ventures will be present in areas of Slovenia where there are currently no Spar stores.
The first supermarket of this type is located on Dolenjska Street in Lavrica, has 660 m2 and employs 12 people.
In neighbouring Croatia, Spar has launched a new portal, Dobartek.spar.hr, offering a large number of content for foodies, including video recipes, wine recommendations, info on culinary trends and small culinary secrets. It is also possible to ask a professional chef for advice if something does not work with the recipe.
