Tesco F&F Boss Richard Collins Steps Down

Richard Collins, chief executive of Tesco's clothing sector F&F, is stepping down and passing the torch to former BHS boss Richard Price, according to reports.

As reported by Retail Week, Collins has been part of the Tesco team since 2005, joining initially as store director for clothing operations.

After almost a decade, Collins will depart from Tesco on 28 August and it is not yet known whether or not he has another position lined up elsewhere.

Collins first became Chief Operating Officer for F&F in March 2013 after handling a broad range of roles for the grocer including Business Leader for clothing, general merchandising, click-and-collect and Homeplus.

Retail Week reports that Tesco has refused to comment on Price’s appointment or the exact role he would take up.
