Speaker Lineup Unveiled For Sustainable Retail Summit
Speakers from Metro, M&S, Walmart, Tesco and more have been confirmed for the second annual Consumer Good Forum Sustainable Retail Summit 2017, which will take place on 2-3 October in Montreal, Canada.
On the retail site, among those set to present are Marie-Claude Bacon, Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, Metro Group; Mike Barry, Director of Sustainable Business, Marks & Spencer; Julie Greene, Health & Nutrition Director, Ahold Delhaize; Steve Lafferty, Senior Director, Health & Wellness at Target and Tim Smith, Advisor, Tesco.
On the supplier side, among those set to present are the newly-appointed head of Mondelez International and current McCain Foods CEO, Dirk Van de Put; Jeff Seabright, Chief Sustainability Officer, Unilever; Janelle Meyers, Director Supplier Relations & Diversity, Kellogg's; Petra Klassen Wigger, Scientific Advisor/Corporate Nutrition, Nestlé; and Melissa Donnelly, Manager, Sustainability Integration & Metrics, Campbell Food Company, to name but a few.
The focus of the event, which follows the inaugural Sustainable Retail Summit in Paris last year, will be on three major challenges facing the industry: eradicating forced labour, reducing and measuring food loss and waste, and supporting healthier diets and lifestyles.
