Nestlé Introduces Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate Made Of Pure Cocoa

Nestlé has introduced a 70% dark chocolate variant made entirely of the cocoa fruit.

The chocolate, made of cocoa beans and pulp, is free of added sugar and does not compromise on taste, texture, and quality, the company said.

'A Real Innovation'

Head of strategic business units, marketing, and sales at Nestlé, Patrice Bula, said, "We’re proud to bring chocolate lovers a new chocolate made entirely from the cocoa fruit without adding refined sugar.

"This is a real innovation which uses the natural sweetness of the cocoa pulp to provide a pure, novel chocolate experience," he added.

In autumn of this year, the food giant plans to launch KitKat bars made from the new chocolate in Japan.

The company will use the chocolate to launch more products for its popular confectionery brands next year in other countries.
