Anuga 2019 Proves Successful For Frostkrone Food Group

Frostkrone Food Group's extensive and thoroughly international selection of street food proved a visual and tasty treat for attendees at Anuga 2019, with the group's Lava Bites, a Taste Innovation Winner, the star of the show.

Since this year, five companies have been married together under the umbrella of the Frostkrone Food Group.

At Anuga, this group of companies presented customers from both the retail and foodservice sectors, with a wide variety of street food and culinary delights for both the supermarket freezer aisle as well as the foodservice sector and snack bars.

Treats range from the exquisite specialities made from Tunisian-style brick dough, as created by Varenne Gastronomie, through to trendy snack ideas from frostkrone, cream cheese delicacies from Bornholter, tasty potato snacks from Rite Stuff Food, and practical pizza pockets from the chefs at Piz'wich.

All are quick and easy to prepare, and it goes without saying that such snacks can be savoured anywhere, anytime.

'Innovative Trailblazer'

"We took advantage of this year's Anuga to showcase our business group in all its facets and indeed to highlight our role as an innovative trailblazer," said Frédéric Dervieux, Managing Partner of the Frostkrone Group. "Our team enjoyed a wealth of interesting and in-depth discussions with trade visitors from home and abroad. And the feedback we received was consistently positive."

Frostkrone Food Group's Lava Bites were chosen by a specialist jury comprised of leading international journalists as a Taste Innovation Winner at Anuga 2019, and the snack was permanently requested and enjoyed by visitors during the course of the trade show.

Lava Bites are as black as volcanic rock with a hint of glowing, and contain creamy cheddar cheese and red jalapeño chilli peppers to set everyone's tastebuds alight.

Other products on display at Anuga 2019 included Maxxarella, the longest-lasting kind of cheese delight you can imagine; Pizza Pocket Breakfast, featuring a hearty helping of scrambled egg, spicy, full-flavoured Cheddar cheese and gently sautéed potatoes; Börek, crispy pastry sheets filled with exquisitely aromatic cream cheese, spinach and feta cheese; Petites Corolles Salmon, wheat pastry dough baked wafer-thin with Mediterranean vegetables and choice salmon; and many more.
