Italian sparkling water brand Ferrarelle has unveiled its first premium line of canned carbonated soft drinks, made with Ferrarelle mineral water from the Riardo springs park near Caserta.

Three references are available: Limonata, featuring 13% juice of Sicilian lemons; Aranciata, featruing 21% juice of Calabrian oranges, and Gassosa, which the company has described as having 'a refreshing, thirst-quenching and natural taste'.

The new beverages will be available from May in a 250ml can.

This innovation is part of a broader project to relaunch the Ferrarelle brand, which began in 2022 with new product positioning, and was followed by the launch of Ferrarelle Maxima sparkling water in the retail channel.

Alternative To Other Products On The Market

Commenting on the launch of the new line of soft drinks, Ferrarelle sales director Andrea Marino said: ‘The line stems from the desire to offer consumers who want to enjoy a satisfying and thirst-quenching beverage, but with a more natural taste and a more delicate fizz, an alternative to the more traditional proposals already on the market.

"In particular in the carbonated drinks segment, we are witnessing a growing demand for new products, characterised by increasingly authentic tastes and ingredients and made with natural and local raw materials.’
