PIK Vrbovec Hails piKLUB Internal Innovation Platform

Meat producer PIK Vrbovec, part of Croatia's Agrokor Group, has praised the success of its internal innovation platform, piKLUB, with which the retailer seeks to harness the knowledge of its own employees to drive innovation forward.

To date, more than 220 ideas has been submitted to piKLUB, and 45 have been rewarded and implemented into the business.

Mate Štetić, CEO of PIK Vrbovec, said that management was "satisfied" with the work of piKLUB to date, with 89.1% of employees aware of the innovation platform.

"This confirms that this initiative and project is fully implemented and operational, which makes us very proud," he added.

PIK Vrbovec employs nearly 2000 staff, and each department within the business holds a piKLUB meeting each month, at which ideas are presented.
