For the second year running, Acqua Minerale San Benedetto Group is the market leader in the non-alcoholic drinks market in Italy.
The company has a 15.4% volume share of the soft drinks market, as certified by Global Data, a UK-based market research and consultancy company, the beverage firm said.
The San Benedetto brand is also the certified leader in the entire non-alcoholic beverage market in Italy - with a 9.5% volume share. It is also the best-selling brand in the mineral water market, holding a 10.5% volumes share, and the the best-selling brand in the iced tea market with 29.8% volume share.
In addition, Energade is confirmed to be the best-selling brand in the Sport Drink market with a 34.2% share.
The Italian group operates in all segments of the reference market: mineral waters (San Benedetto, Antica Fonte della Salute, Pura di Roccia, Acqua di Nepi, Guizza and Cutolo Rionero Fonte Atella); flavoured waters (Aquavitamin and San Benedetto Ice Formula Zero); carbonated drinks (San Benedetto and Schweppes); tea (San Benedetto and Guizza); children's drinks (San Benedetto Baby); sports drinks (Energade); tonic waters (Schweppes); still juice-based drinks (Oasis and San Benedetto Succoso) and aperitifs (Ginger Spritz, Ben's and Schweppes).
