Lenta Expands Presence In Saint Petersburg With Two New Hypermarkets

Russian retailer Lenta has announced that it has opened two new hypermarkets in Saint-Petersburg.

The new openings take the total number of Lenta hypermarkets across Russia to 250.

The retailer also operates 135 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and the Central region.

The two new stores are located in premises that previously housed SPAR stores, Lenta said.

Store Highlights

Both stores have been designed to highlight fresh and healthy food items and ensure a more convenient shopping experience for customers.

The product offering in both stores, comprising approximately 11,000 SKUs, has been carefully selected to cater to the needs of residents of Saint-Petersburg.

It includes Lenta’s private label brands as well as national brands and local produce.

The retailer added that both hypermarkets are open 24 hours a day, on all days of the week.

Other Details

One of the new stores is located at 10 Kollontay street and has a total area of 7,140 square metres, with 4,295 square metres of selling space.

It has 161 parking spots and 21 cash registers, including ten self check-outs.

The second store, located in 32 Kolpinskoe highway, is spread across an area of 7,854 square metres, with 4,099 square metres of selling space.

It offers parking for around 200 vehicles and is equipped with 21 cash registers, including ten self check-outs.
