Jerónimo Martins And Sonae Top Retailers For Reputation In Portugal

Retailers Jerónimo Martins and Sonae are among the most reputable organisations in Portugal based on enterprise value, a recent study has found.

According to the OnStrategy RepRisk Value Pulse study, which measures the reputational economics of particular companies,Jerónimo Martins scored 73% in the study, while Sonae scored 71%, putting both retailers at the upper end of the scale, HiperSuper reported.

CTT Correios de Portugal, the Portuguese postal service, was the highest-scoring firm in the study, achieving a score of 77%. The average score across Portuguese companies was 63%.

The study aims to assess the economic value of organisations' reputations and analyse whether companies are vulnerable to financial risk.

Both Jerónimo Martins and Sonae are seen as companies with a 'moderate' risk of losing their financial value in the event of a reputational crisis.
