Lenta Opens First Hypermarket In Achinsk
Russian retailer Lenta has announced the opening of its first hypermarket in Achinsk.
The new store comes in the Lenta “compact” format and is located at bld.65, in the Southern-East micro-district of Achinsk in the Krasnoyarsk region of central Russia.
According to Lenta, the store has a total area of 7,650 square metres including 4,252 square metres of selling space. It’s open from 8am to 11pm, seven days a week. It has 299 parking spaces and 18 cash registers, including 4 self-checkout lanes.
The new store offers a product assortment of 17,000 SKUs, which are tailored to the region. It includes the retailer’s private labels and federal product range alongside local products.
The new opening is Lenta’s 32nd hypermarket launch in 2017 and brings the total number of Lenta stores to 223 hypermarkets in 80 cities across Russia and 78 supermarkets in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg and the Central region, according to the retailer.
The retailer recently opened its 19th hypermarket in Moscow, at the Retail Park Vidnoe shopping mall on the Kashirskoe highway.
