Mini Nom Noms Scoops Three Awards At IFE 2015

The UK's largest food and drink exhibition - IFE - returned to London earlier this week, with thousands of visitors passing through the ExCel over the course of the four days of the event.

The exhibition saw world renowned chefs demonstrating their skills, industry experts sharing their insight, as well as numerous networking and buyer opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike.

Visitors from more than 127 countries visited IFE where products form 57 different countries were showcased.

For the first time, finalists and winners of the 2015 World Food Innovation Awards were announced at IFE. A panel of industry experts judged more than 340 entries from 30 countries in six different categories - finished products, ingredients, packaging, brands, manufacturing & processing, sustainability and marketing.

Chris McCuin, event director of IFE, said, "This is the first time IFE has partnered with World Food Innovation Awards. It has been a great experience and our visitors have particularly enjoyed being able to view some of the world's best food innovations here at IFE."

Mini Nom Noms took home three of the coveted awards, including 'best new children's food', 'best new food concept' and 'best new brand or business'.

According to IFE, the show always is an indicator for the most promising emerging trends and new developments in the food and beverage industry.

For this year and 2016, emerging market trends are said to include gluten free products, seaweed and coconut products, such as coconut oil or coconut flour.
