Norwegian food giant Orkla has named Harald Ullevoldsæter its new executive vice-president and chief financial officer, effective from 1 March 2020.
Earlier this year, he joined Orkla after serving as the finance chief of Nortura SA since 2014.
From 1996 to 2014, Ullevoldsæter was a part of Orkla in various executive finance roles, including that of finance director and member of the management team of Orkla Brands and Orkla Brands Nordic.
Before joining Orkla, he was a financial analyst in DNB Markets for nine years.
'Solid Finance Experience'
Commenting on his appointment, president and CEO of Orkla, Jaan Ivar Semlitsch, said, "With his solid finance experience and excellent business acumen, I am certain that he will play an important role in Orkla’s value creation going forward."
Ullevoldsæter will succeed Jens Bjørn Staff, who will take on the role of CEO of Skagerak Energi in June 2020.
