Italian retailer Pam Panorama has opened its 28th Pam Local store in Rome, six months on from its previous opening in the Italian capital, reports Italiafruit News.
The new outlet, located in Via Ludovico di Breme 82, boasts a wide range of SKUs, including single-portion packs (in order to avoid food waste), a number of ready-made dishes, as well as a large selection of local products bearing DOP and IGP certification.
The Rome store has allocated wide space to products aimed at consumers wellness and in line with new food trends, including vegetarian/vegan, free from, organic, as well as superfood and healthy-eating references.
The assortment also offers a number of organic personal care products, made from ingredients sourced from plants, and household care goods, including a selection of eco-friendly detergents.
As all Pam Local stores, the new supermarket promises daily savings to its customers through the Prezzo Promessa (Promised Price) campaign, which offers low prices on selected articles 365 days a year.
New DM-Drogerie Markt
Elsewhere, German drugstore chain DM-Drogerie Markt has opened a new store in Trento, reaching the number of 19 outlets in Italy, reports Distribuzione Moderna.
The Trento store, located in Via G.B. Trener 16, has a sales area of 300 square meters, employs seven staff and is open seven days a week.
The assortment also include a wide range of pet care, household care and personal care goods, as well as more than 20 DM private label SKUs.
According to Benjamin Schneider, marketing and purchasing director of DM, the company's goal is to create an efficient and widespread network of stores, able to meet consumers needs.
