Reckitt Benckiser Announces Changes To Executive Team

Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (RB) has announced a series of management changes focused on driving performance and moving RB into its next phase of transformation, according to the company.

Gurveen Singh, chief human resources officer, will retire after 27 years with the business.

Ranjay Radhakrishnan will succeed Singh as RB’s new as chief human resources officer and as a member of the company’s executive committee, effective from 1 March 2020.

Commenting on the appointment, Group CEO Laxman Narasimhan said, “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Ranjay as Gurveen’s successor.”

Radhakrishnan is currently chief human resources officer at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG plc). Prior to working for IHG, Radhakrishnan spent 23 years working at Unilever, in which he held a number of senior leadership roles at global, regional and country levels.

Planned Departure

Chief supply officer, Mike Duijser, has also announced plans to leave RB to return to the US due to personal reasons. The company has started looking for his successor; in the meantime Frederick Dutrenit, SVP manufacturing health has been appointed interim executive chairman.

“I would like to thank Mike for his contribution to RB and wish him success for his future endeavours” Narasimhan said.

This announcement follows the appointment of new executive team members: Jeff Carr, Harold van den Broek and Kris Licht.

“I look forward to working with this exceptional group of leaders as we continue to drive performance to transform the business,” Narasimhan added.
