In the USA, Italian cheese exports reached 17,800 tonnes in the first half of 2017, a result that confirms Italy's position as the leading supplier in the country, ahead of France (10,300 tonnes) and the Netherlands (7,100 tonnes). Today, 27% of cheese entering the USA hails from Italy.
