Spar India Launches Digital Kiosk For Grocery Orders

Spar India has launched the first digital shopping kiosk in the country at the Manyata Tech Park in Bangalore, which opened at the start of September.

The device, equipped with an easy-to-use interface, allows employees of the Tech Park to place grocery orders and collect them from a delivery point at a chosen time.

For a limited time, Spar is providing 250 rupees cash back to customers who place orders of 500 rupees or more through the digital kiosk.

Other Features

The Manyata Tech Park is 9.8 million square feet in size, spread over 110 acres. Spar says that the park's 95,000 employees are tech-savvy consumers, and so will benefit from the new service.

Shoppers have access to over 10,000 items through the service, including hand-picked fresh produce. In addition, they can avail of same-day delivery for orders placed before 3 pm.

Spar India is planning to expand this concept further by teaming up with other associations, including housing complexes and office parks.
