UK supermarket chain Tesco has launched a range of hand-cooked crisps with all the flavours of a Christmas dinner. The ‘Crispmas Dinner collection’ includes flavours such as Wensleydale & cranberry cheese or spiced gammon for starters; roast turkey and stuffing with onion gravy flavour for the main and mince pie for dessert.
Inspired by Michelin-starred chef Hans Van Wolde, the crisps are made from the Hermes variety of potatoes. Hand-cooked in high oleic sunflower oil, they contain no artificial flavours, colours or MSG. “These limited edition crisps have been launched with the party season in mind and we think people will be able to have a lot of fun with them,” said Tesco. “These crisps will be a hit with anyone who loves Christmas dinner and wants a sneak taste of the seasonal feast ahead of the big day”.
