Müller Lauches Lactose-Free Yogurt

Dairy company Müller is entering the lactose-free yogurt sector, with a new range of Müller Corners that are suitable for those with a lactose intolerance.

The new lactose-free yogurt will be available in two flavours, strawberry and red cherry, and will be available in UK supermarkets from May onwards.

Müller says that this development in guided by a category vision, which identified a potential £233 million of category growth by 2020.

In line with these expansion plans, the company is also launching a Müller Quark Yogurt this month.

Continued Investment

Last week, Müller announced that the sugar content in its UK yogurt range has been cut by 13.5% since 2015.

The company has done this by reformulating products and by launching new lower- and no-added sugar options.

Last September, Müller announced plans to invest £100 million in its UK operations over the next three years, with the aim of expanding its range of branded products, and to launch new private label lines.
