Carlsberg Group has announced that Anders Bering, the VP of corporate affairs, has decided to leave the group. Bering is also a member of the company's global leadership team.

After eight years at the brewing company, Bering will leave to join Mars Inc. as the VP of global public affairs in the US. His new role will commence on 1 May 2020.

Corporate Affairs

Bering joined the Carlsberg Group in 2011 and has been responsible for the global corporate affairs function, covering internal and external communication as well as government relations and sustainability.

He has also been a part of the management team in the Group’s Danish subsidiary, Carlsberg Denmark, and represented the group in several internal and external boards.

Commenting on his departure, CEO Cees ‘t Hart said, “We would like to thank Anders for his dedication and contribution to Carlsberg Group and the successful transition we have been going through.

"He is a strong leader and a trusted advisor that we are proud to see him take the next step in his career with another iconic global business.”
