Smurfit Kappa has been named as a winner in both the Transport and Consumer Packaging categories, at the national Pakstar Awards in Poland.
SoFruBox, designed as a stackable crate with individual boxes holding 500g (or SoFruBoxMiniPak 1 Kg) of fruit, took home the award in the Transport packaging category for meeting the needs of the supply chain, while also providing the necessary ventilation to cope with climate and humidity changes.
Smurfit Kappa's fruit juice, 'Ice Box' 5L Bag-in-Box design, won the 'Consumer' packaging category for providing customers with a solution that is practical and attention drawing.
Jakub Świętek, design department manager at Smurfit Kappa Poland, commented "We are delighted to have won these Pakstar Awards, which in combination with the Art of Packaging Awards won earlier this year, demonstrates the industry leading expertise and experience of the design team in Smurfit Kappa Poland."
