Continente Expands Organic Private Label Assortment

Continente has boosted its range of organic products with the expansion of its Continente Bio range.

To mark the expansion, the Portuguese supermarket and hypermarket chain has launched a dedicated promotional campaign both in physical stores and online.

The initiative runs until 12 July and consumers are offered direct discounts of up to 25%.

Quality Standards

Continente Bio brand products are produced to high quality standards and a rigorous quality control and certification process, the retailer said.

New additions to the Continente Bio range include organic eggs; almond drink; coconut oil; organic tofu; coconut sugar; quinoa; granola with red fruits; whole oat flakes and natural yogurt.


At a time when the Portuguese are increasingly aware of their diet and the impact it has on their health and the environment, the food retailer intends to promote a more sustainable lifestyle, increase consumption of fruit and vegetables, promote seasonal products and reduce food waste.
