  • Since its foundation in 1968, ESCA has been a leader in quality and innovation in the frozen seafood sector.

The company’s tireless resolve for research and development has placed it in the number one spot several times for its packaging system, product development, production efficiency, and food quality and sustainability.

In 2001, ESCA achieved one of its greatest milestones with the successful launch of the novel 'Condipresto' frozen seafood sauces range.

Condipresto was a revolutionary product for the seafood industry and the very first frozen seafood mix with sauce to be introduced in the market.

The sauces, which complement all kinds of pasta, rice, and gnocchi, can be prepared in just eight minutes.

The innovative product rapidly conquered the Italian consumer market, establishing ESCA as an undisputed world leader and expert in the category.

In 2017, the company switched to MSC-and ASC-certified fish and seafood in its products, in a bid to contribute to the preservation of marine biodiversity while guaranteeing high-quality products.

It was also the first company in the world to produce frozen seafood sauces using MSC- and ASC-certified fish and seafood.

The company, still led by the Patrizi family, is constantly evolving and strengthening its presence in national and foreign markets.

Every year, ESCA produces approximately 19.4 million products for national and international supermarkets, hypermarkets, and discount stores, in both original packaging and private labels.

Condipresto frozen seafood sauces, a staple in Italian households, are rapidly becoming a favourite in foreign markets across Europe, Canada, the US and Asia.
