Lithuanian retail chain Maxima has announced that it will open four stores in December as a part of its investment plan for this year.
A new Maxima X store will open in 83 Tallinas street in Riga on 20 December, while the three other stores are also scheduled to open once renovation works are completed.
These include the Maxima XX store in Valmiera, the Maxima X store at 78 Brīvības street in Riga, and the Maxima X at 14 Višķu street.
'New Image'
Commenting on the reopening of the stores, Maxima Latvija Board Member Viktors Troicins, said, “We are pleased that the stores are being relaunched with a truly new image - convenient, modern, and pleasant for both customers and employees.”
Earlier, in November of this year, the retail group opened three stores in Riga.
Maxima Latvija’s expansion plan includes the construction of new premises, as well as the renovation of existing storefronts to match the requirements of modern shopping environment.
