Waitrose & Partners has announced that it has opened a new convenience store in Dubai in partnership with Fine Fare Food Market LLC (FFFM).
Waitrose Al Barari is the retailer’s sixth store in Dubai and twelfth in the United Arab Emirates.
The 4,000 square-feet outlet is located in the heart of an active eco-conscious residential development in Al Barari.
A Wide Range Of Products
The product offering includes fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread as well as food to go, the company said.
The store will also offer private-label products from the Essential Waitrose range as well as Waitrose No.1.
It features a vegan section, offering quick and easy ready meals and staple vegan essentials.
Barry Delehanty, head of commercial sales at Waitrose, commented, “We are continuing to see increasing demand for Waitrose and its food products in the UAE and worldwide and so delighted to be working with our partners in Fine Fare Foods Limited to open this store in Al Barari.
"We are proud that our brand appeals to so many customers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.”
Store Highlights
The store will focus on delivering the high levels of customer service and quality food that shoppers expect from the Waitrose brand, Waitrose said.
It employs 16 people and FFFM manages its daily operations with support from Waitrose in the UK. It will be open all seven days a week from 7:00 hours to 23:00 hours.
