Dagrofa Logistik Names Dan Kolding As New CEO

Danish retailer Dagrofa has appointed Dan Kolding (pictured) as the chief executive officer of Dagrofa Logistik, effective 1 January 2023, according to a press release.

Kolding will also join Dagrofa's group management and lead Dagrofa Logistik, with focus on its 'FremgangSammen' (ProsperityTogether) strategy.

Dagrofa CEO, Tomas Pietrangeli added, "Our strategy 'FremgangSammen' is about creating growth for the group and giving Danes the best food experiences, both at home and abroad.

"I am, therefore, pleased that Dan Kolding will strengthen our logistics business in the future. He brings with him highly relevant and solid experience in logistics, supply chain and management, and not least the right attitude to build on our strategy with our employees, grocers and customers."

An Experienced Professional

Commenting on his new role, Kolding said, "The food industry is hugely exciting right now, and for me Dagrofa, in particular is an ambitious group.

"It is with great humility, pride and enthusiasm that I look forward to being responsible for Dagrofa Logistik and becoming part of the strong community that exists within the group."

Arnløv Jørgensen

Jørgensen has been with the company for 22 years and contributed towards positive growth for Dagrofa Logistics.

Jørgensen added, "Passing on the baton has been a decision that has been a long time coming for me, but it had to be done at the right time both for me and for the company. [...]

"I have helped to make a successful turnaround in Dagrofa, secured significant growth in Dagrofa Logistics, but most importantly, I have enjoyed every day. I wish all the best for Dagrofa and Dagrofa Logistics in the future."

As part of its 'FremgangSammen' strategy, Dagrofa plans to invest over one billion DKK in implementing a more customer-oriented strategy with a focus on digitalisation, opening and modernising stores and offering a broader product range.
