Vos Logistics Completes Acquisition Of SNEL Shared Logistics

European logistics service provider Vos Logistics has announced that it has completed the acquisition of SNEL Shared Logistics.

The acquisition will strengthen the market position of Vos Logistics in fine-meshed distribution, warehousing, and cross-docking, the company said.

The deal will enable the company to increase its storage capacity to 315,000 square meters, and its fleet to 1,400 tractor units.

'Good Cooperation'

Managing director of Vos Logistics Solutions, Toine van Gils, said, "The acquisition is a confirmation of our good cooperation, which has lasted for many years.

"The cultures of both companies fit well together and we are complimentary in our services. This will certainly help us with the integration."

Commenting on the deal, director of SNEL Shared Logistics, Peter de Vries, said that he was pleased with the positive reaction from customers, staff and other parties.

"In combination, we can grow better with our customers and take faster steps in the field of innovation and sustainability," he added.
