Italian retailer Pam Panorama has introduced a section on its website for suppliers interested in selling their products to the company.
The initiative is part of the retailer’s efforts to support suppliers in the HoReCa segment.
The portal aims to connect the retailer to small and medium-sized enterprises, some of which operate in a limited territory.
It will also give large companies the opportunity to offer proposals for selling assorted products in Pam Panorama stores.
Commercial manager Marco Sottana believes that “excessive crowding” in the company's traditional communication channels has discouraged suppliers from approaching buyers.
About The Portal
The Portale Fornitori Merci (Goods Suppliers Portal) allows suppliers to register directly on the company’s website in a few simple steps.
Sottana added, “With a simple accreditation operation on a specific section of our site, each company can register and present its history, assortment, price list, and any other information in a structured way useful to complete its profile."
The new platform will also help build trust in the company’s distribution structure by presenting it in a transparent manner, the retailer said.
