2 Sisters Food Group Confirm Ronald Kers As New CEO

UK-based 2 Sisters Food Group has confirmed the appointment of Ronald Kers as its new chief executive officer, who will officially joining the company on June 1.

Kers was previously the global CEO of dairy heavyweight Müller, stepping down in 2017. He first joined the company in 2012 as CEO of its UK operations, and assumed the role of global CEO in 2015. He has had more than two decades of experience at global FMCG companies, including Nestlé and Procter & Gamble.

The Next Level

Kers will take over from Ranjit Singh Boparan, who stepped down from his position as CEO in February after 25 years in the role. Boparan will take on a broader leadership role as president of the Boparan Holdings Ltd., in order to build on his entrepreneurial background and strengthening 2 Sister’s financial position.

Boparan said, "I am pleased that Ronald is joining 2 Sisters as CEO and we will benefit from his tremendous experience working in many of the world’s leading global food businesses.

"We have already started with our commitments to greater transparency, a stronger colleague voice, and simplifying a complex organisation. But there is so much more to do and Ronald can take the business performance to the next level."

Business Transformation

Kers commented on his appointment, "2 Sisters is an incredible company and I am pleased to take over from Ranjit and write the next chapter of its success story, one which is often overlooked."

He continued, "What I would like to do now is, with the help of all colleagues, customers and other stakeholders, transform the business from good to great to be the best everywhere we operate."

2 Sisters Food Group is one of the largest food manufacturing companies in the UK, boasting £3.2 billion in turnover. It employs 23,000 staff in 48 sites in countries around the world.
