Cazorla Group: Specialists In Gourmet Olives For 60 Years

With a long history behind it, the Cazorla Group celebrates 60 years of research, innovation and progress this year. Following its original spirit, its 60 years of history have been marked by the constant search for improvement and corporate growth.

Over the last 30 years, the Group has continuously evolved in order to offer the widest range of products from the olives and pickles category, to customers in more than 50 countries.

What does Cazorla Group specialise in?

• Filled Olives. Carefully selected, with high quality control for each filling. Each and every olive is produced with respect for the environment. The anchovy filling stands out. In addition, some varieties, such as garlic and almond, are filled manually.

• Black Olives. The Group processes 30% of the black-olive variety from Caceres, which is one of the Group's flagship products. Of all existing varieties, this is the one that best fits the oxidation and blackening process. The final result of this process is an improvement in appearance, brightness and intense colour, as well of its organoleptic characteristics, texture and freshness.

• Dressings and Varieties of the World. The Group works with national and international varieties and has one of the best-positioned brands in this category, both in the retail and the foodservice sectors. It offers the most-valued specialties of olives for private-label assortments. All this is due to the great work done by the innovation team exclusively dedicated to this category.


• Product Gourmet. What stands out the most is the great quality of La Explanada Gourmet, the line dedicated to satisfying the most exquisite and demanding palates.

La Explanada Fresh

La Explanada Fresh proposes a new range of brines and cocktails, in an improved format. It features special packaging with heat sealing, which is much safer when protecting and guaranteeing the quality of the product. At the same time, it is easier to transport and keeps the product for a longer period of time, without losing its freshness.

La Explanada Gourmet

Vanguard and tradition are the two main characteristics of La Explanada Gourmet. It features a wide range of varieties, offering everything from olives stuffed with traditional anchovies to those of gourmet pepper, gazpacho and seasoned, pitted gordal olives, olives in grandmother's brine, sweet and sour pickles, and cocktail and natural black Aragon olives.

La Sota

La Sota is one of the most outstanding brands of the Cazorla Group. It gathers the most satisfying flavours – those that transport the consumer to the place of the most intense sunsets: the Mediterranean.
