Carrefour And Cora Share Each Others Private Label Offering

French retailers Carrefour and Cora have commenced selling each other’s private label products in their respective stores.

French trade magazine Lineaires reported that the private label synergies follow on from the formation of a buying organisation between both retailers in 2014.

While this group was established to handle the purchasing of national and international brands, in June of this year both retailers informed the French competition authority of their intention to advance this agreement further.
