Danish supermarket group Dansk Supermarked has announced the extension of its Levevis private label range.
Levevis, which translates as ‘Habits’ is an eco-friendly and free from range of products, the packaging of which clearly indicates the eco credentials of the range. This includes gluten-free, lactose-free, high fibre and vegan products, among others.
A spokesperson for the group said that the decision to extend its offering came about in order to provide consumers with a more “honest explanation” of the characteristics of certain products in relation to health, the environment and animal welfare.
The product range has been extended from 220 to 360 products as part of the move, and will be rolled out in the group’s føtex and Bilka stores.
