Dominik Scheid, the sales director of German retail chain Globus, has stepped down from the position, effective 31 July 2019, according to reports.
The remaining managing directors of Globus will take on his responsibilities until a successor is appointed, the group said.
Scheid stepped in as sales director in 2018, following a reorganisation of the management team.
An Experienced Professional
Scheid is an experienced professional, who began his career in 1992 as a BA student at Globus Baumarkt Zweibrücken.
Later, he took on various leadership roles in the company, including assortment management at the company's logistics centre in Bingen, as well as at the Dutenhofen and Forchheim businesses.
