McBride Sees Slight Rise In Group Revenue

McBride, the largest producer of private label household and personal care products in Europe, saw a 0.3% increase in group revenues for the year ended 30 June 2015, according to a trading update issued on 7 July.

The company expects its ‘operating profit for the full year will be in line with expectations’, according to the update.

It said that its ‘performance benefited from continued strong growth in Germany, offset by lower revenues in other key continental European markets and the UK’.

McBride is currently undertaking a restructuring project in its UK business, which it says is on course to deliver savings of £12 million by June 2016.

It will issue preliminary results for the year on 8 September 2015.
