HMY Launches Digital Store To Foster Omnichannel Retailing

HMY, the international leader in global services and innovation for retail, has launched Digital Store – a solution that brings the benefits of the online channel to the physical store.

The customer gains access to real-time information from the POS, like the full catalogue, stock availability, current prices, personalised offers and promotions, and product recommendations, which foster cross-selling.

In this way, HMY is helping its customers, which include brands and retailers, to develop a robust omnichannel strategy with a tool that connects the capabilities and characteristics of every channel, transforming sales spaces into authentic digital stores.

Digital Store not only makes purchasing easier for the end consumer, but allows traditional channels to implement processes for gathering online shopping information about the buyer.

This new solution not only increases the consumer's interaction with the product and brand, but also helps to increase sales by providing additional information about products.

These include technical specifications, stock availability in real time in various outlets and the online store, the possibility of buying products not on display, and fostering cross-selling via personalised recommendations.

In addition, Digital Store is becoming a key support tool for sales staff, who can access product information while remaining in conversation with the customer.


It also helps in the gathering of data via customer loyalty programmes, as this application provides access to the same customer information in the online channel.

Digital Store is a project developed and launched by HMY Retail Tech, the technology division of HMY, which was founded seven years ago, with the aim of helping brands and retailers to reformulate their sales outlet concepts, tailoring them to the latest trends, and responding to the needs of an increasingly digital and demanding consumer.

The ultimate goal is to increase efficiency and sales by creating a unique and attractive shopping experience for their current and prospective customers.
