Vanderlande will exhibit its next generation of scalable solutions for the e-commerce, food and fashion markets, AIRPICK and FASTPICK at this year’s ProMAT, from 8 to 11 April.
The two solutions seamlessly integrate the company’s innovative systems, intelligent software, and life cycle services to create cutting-edge concepts that will support its customers’ operations.
In addition, Vanderlande will exhibit alongside its sister companies of the Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO).
AIRPICK combines efficient picking with flawless automated sortation to individual orders in Vanderlande’s pocket sorter – AIRTRAX Pocket.
It can sort a wide range of products and requires minimal investment.
FASTPICK is a goods-to-person order fulfilment system that uses advanced ADAPTO shuttles for product storage and retrieval.
In this way, it is also able to handle short-term peaks in a cost-efficient manner.
Defining Evolution
Vanderlande has defined evolutions to meet the challenges facing e-commerce and omnichannel warehouses and support the desired growth strategy of its customers.
The latest solutions have been designed to help warehouses and distribution centres deal with the frequently changing dynamics of
their markets.
As such, evolutions can be scaled up as required, facilitate the efficient handling of returns, provide high throughput rates and shorter lead times, and are designed to improve the user experience.
"We’re excited to be presenting our latest concepts at ProMAT," said Vanderlande’s president of warehousing and parcel for North America, James Cotton.
"AIRPICK and FASTPICK are the results of an extensive research and development process intended to create cutting-edge solutions that help our customers stay ahead of their competitors,” added Cotton.
Vanderlande will be exhibiting at Booth S1203.
